One of Maui’s only black sand beaches, a blowhole, and two freshwater caves are found at the park. The water in one of the caves turns red mysteriously once a year. The changing color occurs because tiny shrimps enter the water from the cracks in the rock, scientists say. This turned the water red, and with blood, it turns red again. If you visit and see the red water, there is a different, more scientific explanation for the color of the water. When tiny shrimp enter the water, it turns red with blood. It turns red when the tiny shrimp are swallowed by the rock. When a shrimp is not eaten, the water turns red again. The water stays red for about a week after the shrimp has eaten it.

A hotel in Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park may be haunted

The hotel in Hawaii’s Volcanoes National Park may be haunted. The ghost of an elderly woman has been seen by some guests. Hotel owners often seek to appease people by offering them gifts. Sometimes they also return lava rocks taken by tourists from the park, which are said to carry a curse for the unwary people who originally picked them. Many people send back the rocks hoping an apology will be enough to remove the people’s curse from their lives. The national park service says the original hotel was built in 1846 but the current hotel was constructed in the early 1900s. Since the 1950s, the hotel has been open to the public but has been closed to visitors since the 1980s. There are now limited rooms available for members of the public.

California’s Joshua Tree national park

In California’s Joshua Tree national park, a yucca man was spotted. People say the creature is often accompanied by a sour body odor. Many agree that it’s covered in hair and often has red eyes. Even members of the local army at a nearby air base have encountered a very similar creature, popularly known as a blue eye. A number of people have connected the Yucca Man to unidentified shadow beings that have been seen in the area. It’s bound to creep up on even the stoutest of campers on dark desert nights. It has been thought of as an unknown cryptic creature and something more tenuous than reality. It has also been connected to the shadow beings that follow the area and other creatures. The existence of the “Yucca Man” was first seen in the 1960s when more people were moving into the area.

Mount Shasta has been a strange place for a long time

Mount Shasta has been the subject of eerie tales and offbeat spirituality for decades. Some visitors reported seeing tall, striped lemurs wandering around the area, sometimes taking risks with gold. And on the other hand, members of the local mountain tribe maintain that the mammoths are the keepers of the woods. Others say that the mountain is actually home to lizards, while everyone else has a strange story to tell. It is said to be the home of the inhabitants of the sunken continent of Lemuria. It is also home to Bigfoot, and a number of unexplained objects have been spotted near the mountain in the last few years.

Glen and Bessie Hyde went missing in the Grand Canyon

They disappeared in 1928 while trying to navigate the rapids of the Colorado river as it traveled through the Grand Canyon. The couple were spotted in a Grand Canyon village, a small community in the Grand Canyon national park.

They were last seen in late December and their empty boat was recovered in December. Some believe they must have died suddenly, but questions about how they died or why they didn’t have any have continued to this day. An elderly woman claimed to be Bessie and killed Glen, but it was difficult to verify because she had started a new life elsewhere. The mystery of Glen and Bessie is still open, as reported by the Grand Canyon News, despite the fact that a skull that was said to be that of Ben was proved to be false.

The boat was found undamaged and loaded with supplies. The Unsolved Mystery of Saddle Road, Big Island

Big Island is home to a tragic murder mystery about David Douglas. A well traveled botanist from England, he was. He explored the western coast of North America, discovering over 200 plant species previously unknown to England. He was enjoying traveling to Hawaii where he searched for and documented plant samples and sent them back to England. However, his third trip in 1834 would prove to be his last trip. At one point, he retraced his steps and set himself on fire. In search of David, the guide found his body in one of the cattle pits with a bull standing over him.

In order to determine the cause of death, a local reverend sent his body to Honolulu. Douglas was buried in an unmarked grave. It was rumored that Douglas had a large gold purse with him that was nowhere to be found upon his death. Ned Gurney, the man who had stayed with him, seemed to be an obvious suspect, but no evidence was found to convict him. After Douglas’ death, all records of Ned were lost, along with the man himself. He vanished, possibly taking with him the truth of what had actually happened to David Douglas. The murder mystery remains unsolved to this day. It is surrounded by a forest of Douglas fir trees planted in the memory of this passionate botanist.

Yosemite’s Tenaya Canyon has seen some odd disappearances

Tradition says that a Tenaya chief cursed the area where his home is located in the Yosemite national park. Several disappearances and close calls have occurred in the area that make some wonder if the curse is real. Even John Muir, the famous Scottish naturalist and father of the US national park system, nearly met his death in the canyon. Poor preparation on the part of hikers, the steep sides of the canyon, and the often unforgiving and remote wilderness of the park are some of the reasons for those misfortunes. The area has led to some calling it the “Bermuda Triangle of Yosemite”, because of the accidents and deaths that have happened there. The national park service has no comment on the allegations. Currently, the canyon hosts several hiking and climbing events each year.

Murdered Jane Doe Found at Yosemite

The body was found in the park’s summit meadow along the glacier point road and the partial remains were found. They believe the victim was at least 16 but could be as old as 30. Investigators said Henry Lucas was interviewed in the 1980s and died in 2001. Lucas was convicted of murdering 11 people, though some of the killings were later disputed by the authorities. He had information about the murder that was not made public and could only be known by the person who committed the crime. Lucas said the victim was a female hitchhiker he picked up in the early 1980s on Highway 41 between Fresno, Calif. She is still known as Jane Doe and her remains have never been found.

Multiple people have disappeared in the Smoky Mountains

In the great smoky mountains national park, multiple people have gone missing. The high school student who went missing in 1976 is included. In 1981, Thelma Pauline Melton also disappeared while hiking on a mountain they knew well. During a robbery, Dennis Martin went missing on June 14, 1969. He may have wandered into the backcountry while others say he was taken. This makes it the most popular national park in the country with more than 12 million visitors in 2020. The Great Smoky Mountain National Park is located in the region of North Carolina, Tennessee, and South Carolina.

Many maintain that Gettysburg is packed full of ghosts

During the battle of Gettysburg in 1863, more than 7,000 soldiers died. Solders in modern photographs have been spotted while mounted cavalry from the period are said to still be present. Even in 1863, there were unnerving mysteries for the troops in the midst of the bloody conflict. It was said that some saw the resemblance of Washington leading the Union into battle. Why do some people think that Gettysburg is full of ghosts? No wonder people think it’s full of ghosts. It’s the location of the civil war, the first world war, and the place where the United States won the civil war. The site of one of the most famous battles in history, the Battle of Gettysburg, is also there.
